This is less than a thimble's worth of beer. I mean the amount of beer somebody would trade you for a thimble, not the amount that would fit in one. And it's not that the value of a thimble is equivalent to such a tiny amount of beer, it's just such a weird trade that you kinda have to take what you can get.
