Slagging Off
Amidst the hot chaos of the coal car, you run across one of those slag-processing robots, but it looks like somebody beat you to it and beat it into submission. It's still searing hot, and it has two interesting-looking dents in its surface.
If you had some of that crystal from the dining car, this thing is probably hot enough to melt it.
with Crimbo crystal shards:

You drop the shards into the indentation and wait a few minutes, at which point they've cooled into a cool goblet!
