Snap Fingers

Pete had this cool trick where he could snap his fingers and make the lights turn on. Some historians have argued that this effect was attributable not so much a cool trick as an as-seen-on-TV product known as "The Snapper."

When Used: |
You snap your fingers and a massive bank of lights comes on above the stage. Your opponent staggers backwards, shielding his eyes.

Notes
- The number of rounds that the enemy is stunned for is dependent on one's audience Love.
- It stuns for a minimum of 2 turns at 10 Love or less.
- It stuns for a maximum of 8 turns at 50 Love.
- While in effect, each round of combat (including the first) will display the message:
Your opponent is still reeling from the lights coming on so suddenly.
- The last round of combat the stun is active will display the message:
Your opponent finally recovers from the shock of the bright light.
- The audience message is dependent on your Love, and is generated as follows:
- 11-20 Love
- A guy in the audience stands up and claps, and a few others join in.
- There's a smattering of polite applause from the audience.
- Two guys in the audience high-five, delighted at what you just did.
- A man stands up and starts a slow clap, and a few others join in.
- There are a few "Woo!"s from the audience.
- A couple of people stand up and applaud in the audience.
- Someone whistles enthusiastically in the audience, but no one joins in.
- There are a few "Right on!"s from the audience.
- Someone in the audience throws a single flower at your feet.
- One or two people go, "Awww," in the audience.
- 21-29 Love
- A few groups of people in the audience clap their hands and stomp their feet with enthusiasm.
- A whole row of the audience goes, "Awww," deeply moved by what you're doing.
- Shouts of "Bravo!" echo throughout the audience.
- Most of the audience laughs heartily at your hilarious antics.
- There's a whole chorus of "Woo!"s from the audience, all pitched at you.
- A lady in the audience throws a bouquet of flowers at your feet.
- There are a few jubilant whistles in the audience, interspersed with applause.
- A whole row stands up and applauds, and everyone else claps along while seated
- A man stands up and starts a slow clap, which builds to a restrained but definite ovation.
- Several members of the audience clap enthusiastically.
- 30-50 Love
- A man in the audience tries to start a slow clap, but he's quickly drowned out by thunderous applause.
- People in the audience are applauding, whistling, laughing, and weeping -- some of them doing all of it at the same time. Those people are probably insane. But even the sane ones seem to really dig you.
- The audience showers you with an entire florist shop's worth of flowers thrown at your feet.
- The audience laughs uproariously, weeping and holding their sides at your antics.
- There's more clapping and whistling going on in the audience than at your average dog show.
- Peals of laughter and applause roll out of the audience and over you like a wave of gratification.
- The shouts of "Bravo!" are so deafening you can barely hear your motorcycle.
- The audience leaps to its feet as one, each person applauding so hard their hands hurt.
- There are so many people shouting "Woo" in the audience that it sounds like a fleet of ambulances.
- There is no reaction from the audience with 10 or less Love.
