You're fighting a Spawn of WallyYou light the candle and speak the ancient words. A ring of sickly green light coalesces around you, and there is a sound reminiscent of vomiting snakes (as in "snakes vomiting," not "somebody ate some snakes that didn't agree with him") as a loathsome creature fades into view in front of you.
It's a Spawn of Wally -- Wretched Wally, specifically -- one of the Seven Seals of the Infernal Abyss. Condemned for unspeakable crimes against his brethren, he wallows, eyeless, earless, noseless, navigating his foul domain only by his senses of shame and outrage. When his hatred grows too strong for his frail, impotent body to contain, it is given form as one of these things.
It's pretty disgusting. If you weren't so familiar with seals, you probably wouldn't even recognize it as one. It's all tentacles and teeth, but more importantly, it's all up in your grill.

It manages to get your entire head inside its mouth. From this perspective, you learn something -- these things have a lot of teeth! Oof!
It flicks a ropy tentacle at you, but you skip rope and avoid damage.
It tries to bite your <thigh>, but ends up biting thin air, instead. Which is unsurprising, since the thing is blind.
It tries to curse you in the ancient tongue of the Abyss, but since it has no tongue, it's not particularly effective. Or at all audible, for that matter.
It tries to garotte you with a sinuous tentacle, but being without sinuous tentacles yourself, you duck out of the way and cast a stone at it.
It tries to hit you up high with its tail, but you hightail it out of the way.
Slavering, it reaches toward you with a writhing, slimy tentacle. It accidentally slavers a little too enthusiastically, though, and bites the tentacle off before it can reach you. (FUMBLE!)
