You make your way back to the gnomish sietch, and hold up your can of paint. Gnasir lends you a brush, and you paint the door black as night, black as coal.

"Good work," he says, as you hand the brush back. "You have passed our tests. I must now confer with the rest of the tribe, and make preparations for your training. Come back when the sun has lowered a hawk's span in the sky."

"What?"

"About twenty minutes or so."
