The Suspicious Masonry is located in the Spookyraven Manor Cellar.

On the floor next to a spot of weird-looking brickwork, you see a scrap of paper...

You acquire an item: recipe: mortar-dissolving solution

• Afterwards:

You approach the suspicious masonry.

Unfortunately, you don't have anything that would help you get through it.

• With the mortar-dissolving ingredients:

You mix the mortar-dissolving ingredients into a nasty-smelling paste, and smear it all over the brickwork with a mortar. Smoke begins to pour from the cracks between bricks as the solution does its work. The wall collapses, revealing an eerily-lit chamber beyond.

A hunched and crooked figure stands by a rough stone altar, surrounded by candles and arcane implements. Could this be... Lord Spookyraven?

• With the wine bomb:

You approach the suspicious masonry.

You shake up the wine bomb and hurl it at the masonry. The ensuing blast leaves a giant jagged hole in the wall, leading into an eerily lit chamber beyond.

Notes

• After blowing up the wall, clicking on the spot where the Masonry once was does nothing.
• A mortarboard would actually just hold the paste near at hand while you used a trowel to spread it on the wall.
