Talk:1950 Vampire Vintner wine
Well, this is going to be interesting to catalog in the wiki. My first wine drop from the VV is also item ID 10800... but it's not 1969 Shiver Winery Zinfandel, it's 1971 Brick Sisters Barbera. Its effect is Wine-Fortified: Weapon Damage +24, +16% chance of Critical Hit, Damage Reduction: 24, +80% Combat Initiative. It looks to me like item ID 10800 is varied, like the Sword of Procedural Generation. --Aventuristo (talk) 02:21, 5 October 2021 (UTC)
- Guess we'll need a generic name then. The one I got today is a 1972 Red Shiver Barbaresco (and a quest item too now). Effect is either varying too, or TPTB are still tuning it: Wine-Cold, but with +21 Cold Damage, Superhuman Cold Resistance (+5) Maximum MP +35 35% Meat from Monsters. --Fig bucket (talk) 11:38, 5 October 2021 (UTC)
- And after that: 1968 Scorch Valley Barbaresco, with Wine-Hot: +24 Hot Damage Hot Resistance (+6) Maximum HP +80 +40% Item Drops from Monsters. According to someone on the forums, the effect is based on the element that contributed the most damage. --Fig bucket (talk) 11:46, 5 October 2021 (UTC)
Does this wine have a consumption message? If it does it is not mentioned on the page, if it doesn't that also isn't mentioned on the page.--Tombot (talk) 14:27, 25 October 2021 (UTC)
Wine Strength Cap
The wiki page currently shows 48 as the highest wine strength (X), though I've been unable to get anything beyond 25. I'll try to do some spading, but I wonder if a hard cap was silently implemented at some point. --Sensibleb (talk) 09:33, 16 July 2024 (UTC)
