Talk:A Dark Cave

After Volcanic Cave

Here is the text after getting through the maze:

You leap from the final stepping stone onto the rocky island rising up from the boiling lava. The central (well, only) feature of this island is an ancient and weathered stone altar, inscribed with weakly glowing runes that stir strange feelings of recognition deep within you. Hampered by his flippers, Gorgolok is fumbling with a large oily black candle that you know instinctively is not an appropriate votive offering for this shrine. Quite the reverse, in fact.

"That's an ancient Seal Clubber shrine!" you shout. "I don't really get why it's here of all places, but more importantly, what the heck do you think you're doing to it?"

Gorgolok turns to you, his bloodshot eyes inflamed with hatred and madness. "NO MORE! NO MORE CLUBBINGS! I TAKE POWER FROM THIS ROCK, AND I DESTROY YOU, AND ALL THE REST OF YOU PUNY HUMANS TOO!"

"Like hell you will!" you shout, charging forward in a rage. --Remnant 06:58, 19 February 2010 (UTC)

After 2nd Battle

After that battle is over the text is as follows:

Your final blow knocks Gorgolok to the edge of the island, where he scrabbles desperately at the rock with his flippers, trying to keep himself from falling into the boiling lava. He glares at you with hatred burning in his eyes, and shouts "NO! YOU NOT WIN!" Then his claws slip, and he falls backwards.

"Redred Targar!" he screams as he tumbles backwards. "LORD OF REVENGE! GIVE ME STRENGTH!" He hits the lava with a glorp and vanishes beneath the surface.

There is an ominous moment of silence.

This includes one option at the bottom CONTINUE

"RIP AND TEAR!" I suppose he thinks you are huge, which means you have huge guts? --Quietust (t|c) 04:09, 11 July 2011 (CEST)

I would say it's most likely to be as you suspect, a reference to the Doom Comic. I highly doubt it would be derived from the L.A. GUNS song of the same name. If he did not just use it off the cuff.--MageRed 06:50, 11 July 2011 (CEST)
