Just noting a spading point here: Exhausting the digging quest (obtaining the sugar raygun and collapsing the tunnel) removes the choice to buy another teethpick at (Noon, Industrial), but it *does* leave the text in place mentioning it. In other words, I still see the text "Intrigued by that weird anti-digging law you learned about, you dig around looking for digging tools, and find one you dig. You'll have to dig deep, though -- it's pretty expensive!" in the choice adventure, but a button to click to actually buy a second teethpick is not shown. I'll spade a bit and see if I can restart the quest from the beginning (studying law x3-4, etc.) and re-acquire the teethpick, but assuming I can't, it might be worth noting in the guide that the sugar raygun quest is either once-per-ascension or, possibly, once-per-ever. Monster Swapping
- Snokebomb fails to banish, but still gives you a free runaway that does not consume an adventure. However, it still advances time in gingerbread city, reducing the number of gingerbread encounters you can have that day by 1, the same as if you had killed that monster.
- Shattering punch insta kills without spending an adventure, but it still advances time in gingerbread city, reducing the number of daily encounters you can have as if you just normally killed them.
- Macrometeorite works normally here, letting you flip between different gingerbread monsters, and it does not additionally advance gingerbread time. (of course, killing the final monster you settle on still does)
- Based on the above, I suspect all sources of free runs will likely still advance time in the city. They can still save an adventure, but they are not useful if you are going for sprinkles --Taltamir (talk) 14:02, 21 September 2018 (UTC)
- Back-Up to your Last Enemy does not work on gingerbread opponents; instead, it gives you the last combat encounter you had outside the Gingerbread City. --Baltar (talk) 18:48, 26 March 2024 (UTC)
