Talk:Advanced Cocktailcrafting

From A KoL Wiki

I really like the recent improvements to this page- the new colors and particularly the new arrangement coordinating garnish types- makes it a much faster quick reference.--k4f 10:25, 24 June 2006 (CDT)

Thanks- All I did was rearrange the table so that everything lined up all nice, like on Superhuman Cocktailcrafting. I didn't change the colors at all. Qwe 14:08, 24 June 2006 (CDT)

Class-based Tendency?

On my last run as a SealClubber I got more coconuts than both of the others put together. On my current run as a Pastamancer I just got a triple umbrella. Could it be that the probability leans towards the "mainstat" garnish? --Jonrock 03:32, 22 October 2006 (CDT)

  • I disagree. My memory might fail me, but I'm pretty sure I've gotten 5 coconuts on a Disco Bandit. If I remember correctly, I rarely get ice cubes like I should. MAYBE. --MagiNinjA (#1036193) (t|c) 22:18, 3 March 2007 (CST)

Does the bungle in the jungle require AC to make? Last I heard, it didn't. Therefore, I propose it shouldn't be on this page, even though it uses a little paper umbrella. --Emtu 21:30, 3 March 2007 (CST)

  • Right now, the consensus (from what I know) is that that is a bug, but yes, you can make a bungle in the jungle without AC. --MagiNinjA (#1036193) (t|c) 22:18, 3 March 2007 (CST)
    • As an update for future readers (like me), this bug is (long?) gone. I just tried to mix a bungle with a Bad Moon Pastamancer after freeing the King but without Recalling AC, and I "don't have the skill necessary to make this item." I made the daiquiri without issue. --Terion 08:19, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

This is sort of unrelated, but the last few days I've been getting all three different kinds when I summoned. Has there been a change where what you get isn't random anymore?--Sevault 15:08, 26 April 2007 (CDT)

  • ah, sweet, sweet, rng loving. i got three cubes and two umbrellas today, so there's no apparent change there. --Evilkolbot 15:20, 26 April 2007 (CDT)

Moon-phase Based results?

An odd thing happened today. I got five of same mixing garnishes(Little paper umbrellas). Ronald was completely black, Grimace was completely white, and the little one was black as well. it Seemed odd.--Xclockwatcher 16:39, 16 September 2007 (CDT)

  • Completely random - I just summoned 2 coconuts and 3 umbrellas. --Quietust (t|c) 17:11, 16 September 2007 (CDT)

It seems to me that I always have an abundance of coconut shells. Maybe is just the usual RNG, but did anybody really spaded for checking the percentages?--Luos 03:40, 15 October 2007 (CDT)

- Please add the new Typical Tavern Swill mixable booze to this list ... AvangionQ / April 8th, 2009

Stat day influence?

Today is a muscle day and I just got 4 coconuts. Just thought it was worth throwing out there as a possibility. I'll monitor this as more stat days come. -Naughtius Maximus 07:06, 30 April 2009 (UTC)

  • pretty thorougly spaded[citation needed] that there's no effect. just as with the sorceress familiars, it's your mind and the rng playing tricks. or, something has changed. --Evilkolbot 11:17, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
  • For what it's worth, for the past two stat days I've AC has given me the relevant garnish three times. Of course, the law of averages may be smiling on me in this case, too. --Azeltir 04:47, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Evil Drinks

  • The fact that we don't know if evil drinks actually require advanced cocktailcrafting to make is what keeps them off this page--Icon315 03:45, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

Drunki-bears

So, JohnAnon removed all the drunki-bear recipes with no comment on the talk page and no edit description. What gives? Where they here incorrectly or is this some mistaken edit? --Club (#66669) (Talk) 18:23, 16 March 2012 (CET)

  • They do not require Advanced Cocktailcrafting.--Toffile 18:24, 16 March 2012 (CET)
