So what's the point of this, if you still require Trap Ghost in order to get the special item drops? I suppose you can still access the fights, but without the special items, seems rather odd. Jimfromtx (talk) 18:50, 3 August 2016 (UTC)

I suppose the only point of this is to allow completionists to collect Monster Manuel factoids without actually buying the IotM. The ghosts can't be copied, so they can't be encountered via fax or the deck of every card, and the IotM itself can't be traded once used. It would be nice if there was still a way to get the special items, but I guess they decided that would take away too much of the incentive for actually donating for the IotM. --Pilomotor (talk) 01:45, 8 August 2016 (UTC)
