Refrences
Does anyone else see the stone spheres as a reference to the elemental spheres in the second Pokemon movie? --Bonez565 04:54, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
- I've not seen any of the Pokemon movies, but there are a lot of other Pokemon references in the Hidden City. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 18:59, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
Does anyone see the Ratchet and Clank reference from the R.Y.N.O (Rip ya [you] a new one) series? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bongoman5 (talk • contribs) on 10:45, 2010 June 29
- Sign your posts, bongoman. And probably not, it's a pretty normal phrase. If there's a mention of a furry creature and a robot somewhere in there, more plausible. But I'm pretty sure there is none. Argus 18:02, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
Pickpocket?
Wouldn't give me the option to pickpocket it. Gront 18:38, 26 June 2007 (CDT)
Elements
Most attacks are doing spooky damage, but grouchy restless spirits are still doing ~50 damage.--Dorf (t|c) 00:58, 28 June 2007 (CDT)
Same with the Dirge of dreadfulness adding twelve spooky to it--Firepup 14:25, 3 July 2007 (CDT)
Also isn't sleave or sleaze weak elements after trying to take one on with a mere grease gun. Firepup 19:12, 5 July 2007 (CDT)
Run away
It doesn't seem to be possible to run away. I was level 21 at the time, so I don't think it's a matter of having insufficient mainstat. --JiK4eva 16:19, 29 June 2007 (CDT)
- I managed to run away from one; level 11 here. --Hayashida 03:59, 30 June 2007 (CDT)
- It takes a few tries sometimes. Just because the first wasn't successful doesn't mean the second or third won't be. EveDE 14:33, 7 July 2007 (CDT)
- I tried about a dozen times, presumably just bad RNG luck though. --JiK4eva 06:59, 8 July 2007 (CDT)
Impossible to hit using melee?
I'm a seal clubber with 116 muscle. I'm using Lunging Thrust Smack with eye of the stoat, I've got Snarl of the Timberwolf for spooky damage and I miss every time... is it just me, or should this not be the case? I'm going to try using an Icy-hot Katana and getting rid of the timberwolf in a second.--Beran 15:24, 1 July 2007 (CDT)
- Just tried, not working. Muscle too low maybe? (I was using the drywall axe before) --Beran 15:31, 1 July 2007 (CDT)
- Well I'd assume they have higher ml then astromer so it probably is to low, even with the EotS boost.--Dwarfenrifle 21:34, 1 July 2007 (CDT)
- I killed them all with flaming jugglers balls. I think my mox was around 150.
--Error1 15:34, 1 July 2007 (CDT)
- Being an SC, I had to use the toy ray gun to kill them. It took ~15 rounds of combat and ~300 HP for each spirit. It worked even though the spirits were attacking me with spooky and the gun uses hot. --Patik 10:02, 4 July 2007 (CDT)
Mox require for no hit
anyone have any idea what's the minimum moxie for no hit? I have about 140 mox and was getting hit each time it attacked it seemed--Firepup 09:43, 2 July 2007 (CDT)
193 Moxie is a definite no-hit level.--Blastphemist 12:23, 2 July 2007 (CDT)
At 167 moxie I wasn't getting hit often (twice in about 10-15 rounds), but still occasionally, and they weren't critical hits.--JessieWings 01:08, 7 July 2007 (CDT)
I am getting hit occasionally (<35%) with 160 moxie, and always hit @ 150 moxie. --Pso lord734 14:47, 9 July 2007 (CDT)
At 172 Moxie I'm not getting hit once. --Pakrat 01:18, 7 May 2008 (CDT)
Obsidian Dagger
I don't have one of these in my inventory, though I've fought all 4 spirits and opened the smallish temple. Are we sure this is a 100% drop? Orbrisa 22:18, 4 July 2007 (CDT)
- Fight one more spirit- you only get the dagger on the fifth kill.--DrKirre 22:33, 4 July 2007 (CDT)
- Well, it doesn't HAVE to be the fifth kill. I've gotten it on my first kill on one of my multis. It just has to be one of the 5 spirits.--RicFule 22:42, 4 July 2007 (CDT)
- I *think* that the dagger drops on the spirit that has the message:
"As you are inspecting the ancient ruined city, a sudden wind picks up. The howling escalates into an angry shriek, and a horrifying betaloned spectre materializes in your path! It doesn't look likely to validate your parking. " as opposed to the others: "As you are inspecting the ancient ruined city, a sudden wind picks up. The howling escalates into an angry shriek, and a horrifying betaloned spectre materializes in your path!
It doesn't look likely to validate your parking. " Risen Jihad 19:04, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
Disco Bleeding
Disco bleeding no longer does normal damage, it only does 1 damage now, so I'm going to update the page as such. (if anyone is interested, I have a screenshot) IMHO, it's because bleeding counts as non-elemental damage. --Silenthuntr7 14:31, 26 August 2008 (CDT)
Weapon of the Pastalord also only does 1 damage as well. I have added it to the page. Sxyskeksis 16:46, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
- It only does 1 point of damage if not elementally aligned, since it's a physical spell. So, like all spells that happen to do physical damage... I don't think it needs to be mentioned. -- sulfur 17:50, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
AFUE Scrolls no longer working?
I was unable to one-hit the protector spirits this run. Does this perhaps have something to do with AFUE scrolls no longer being able to kill the Crimbomination? --Telis R 09:07, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
Phylum
Siphoning a Drac & Tan tells me the Ancient Protector Spirit is definitely an undead creature.--Noskilz 03:12, 8 March 2012 (CET)
Drops tied to a specific spirit?
I've not had a chance to test this but perhaps each spirit has one of the drops. Should be easy to tell from manuel if drops are tied to specific spirits. Discordance 22:48, 13 December 2012 (CET)
- Necroing this: These are four specific monsters: 442-445. (446 was the spirit that dropped the obsidian dagger.) The Monster Manuel data ties each to a specific AztecPokemon god. The question is: do the combat messages change for each?-Foggy (talk) 16:39, 29 September 2014 (UTC)
