Jar Drops

On day one, mine took about 25 adventures to drop the jar, since then it drops first adventure of the day. Perhaps there is a weight limit before the jar drops? --Club (#66669) (Talk) 21:36, 4 January 2013 (CET)

  • people on the forums are saying one of two things. it's cumulative per ascension. use it fifty turns day one you'll get it turn one day two. or there could be another reading that it starts to drop after 25 turns once per day. what they do say is that you can't preload it and get one turn one since the counter is reset on ascending. --Evilkolbot 20:56, 6 January 2013 (CET)

I'm pretty sure from using mine its just a turn counter, it still takes my level 60 about 25 turns each day as I swap him out as soon as it drops. At some point I will try using him for about 200 adventures in one day and see how many days after I get turn 1 jars. Discordance 21:50, 6 January 2013 (CET)

  • Well, I had one regular adventure yesterday, to get a jar, which I filled and put in the mall. Then I spent the rest of the day Trick or Treating ("<Withheld> bought 142 (blind-packed capsule toy) for 1262096 Meat" woo-wee Animelf outfit!). Today I didn't get a jar immediately, but had to go 20-ish (didn't keep an exact record) adventures to get one.     • Most days this ascension (30% to Golden Meat Stack), I've gotten the jar first combat adventure with the familiar. Fairychaun

Seeing as it's the annual Fairychaun, isn't it safe to assume it acts as a 100% Fairy and 100% Leprechaun just like the others?--TiwazTyrsfist 20:39, 6 January 2013 (CET)

Tested the former in hobopolis, tested the latter using meat ranges from castle giants (the latter is admittedly less precise, because I did not wait for the min and max values to appear, but come on, if it never fell *out* of range, the chance it's a noticeably different percent is quite low, right?) --HikaruYami 04:38, 11 January 2013 (CET)

Not Dropping

Has anyone noticed an issue of the psychoanalytic jar not dropping at all? Occasionally, I can't speak to the frequency at the moment, I have spent well over 50 adventures when KoLmafia reports it will drop now. That IS on top of the 30 adventures to get to that point. When this happens, I do get it near the first adventure on the next day. Is this a bug? Or could it have to do with my AJM's level? It does seem to happen more often when I use him coming out of hardcore. At least that I remember. Nodosaurus (talk) 17:31, 13 March 2021 (UTC)
