So would we mention here or in the Guard Turtles area that:

A) It only seems to affect Guard Turtles with the beret and thin mustache

and

B) Each time you use it, the turtle's attacks get harder and harder? He hit me for 13, then 34, then 90. I wasn't expecting it, and had been damaged from previous fights, so he knocked me out. Will keep spading. --Brightbutt The Defenestrator 23:11, 19 February 2010 (UTC)

i didn't try it during the quest, however after you defeat stella you can use it free the guard turtles. --Symian 02:18, 20 February 2010 (UTC)

It's definitely making the French turtles much more powerful. They can't hit past my Moxie before whipping them; after a while, they're doing substantial damage. Ais523 18:00, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

Judging by the substat gains, I'm thinking that each application multiplies their current monster level by somewhere around 1.4. This works for any guard turtle after beating Stella.

Is it just me, or has the number of taming attempts necessary changed? For some reason, I only need 4 skill uses in order to fully tame it. Ruduen 06:38, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
