You can only plant 1 type of sapling per holiday, so if a person would want to get the outfit himself it would take 4 holidays total - that is about a real life year! And items cannot be traded. Isn't the situation too harsh a bit? --Hrag 03:35, 3 July 2008 (CDT)

Eh, yes and no. Even if it takes 100 turns of planting to get the pieces, that investment is substantially cheaper than a lot of tattoos out there, especially ones since NS13. The cursed zombie pirate costume makes pretty much everything pale in comparison. And 3 days of effort isn't much; compare that to the consumption trophies which can take months of dedicated eating to acquire. It is a lot of waiting in the real world, and it does mean that those of us who didn't plant enough to get a piece this time around are going to be an entire KoL year behind those who did in getting the new tattoo--giving those people a few months of (additional) PvP advantage. --Flargen 03:56, 3 July 2008 (CDT)

I'm pretty sure I was able to plant more than one type of sapling this time since I haven't ascended since the last Arrrbor Day. I had my crotchety pines from last Arrrbor Day, and I was offered more this time and opted for the saccharine maple.
