Talk:BRICKO chick

From A KoL Wiki

How does anyone have it without knowing the hatchling? Leaked from arena by Comma Chameleon? Starguy 00:10, 5 February 2010 (UTC)

  • The familiar haiku pop-up isn't protected in any particular way. Once the hatchling is public, so is that description, and the haiku is very easy to access directly. Also, through the magical means a certain someone has at his disposal, the image for the familiar, it's presumed hatchling, and the monster presumed to drop said hatchling, have all been found. The images were all found before the IotM's release. And, yes, the information about what it actually does, and its messages and such, was acquired through chameleons. --Flargen 02:34, 5 February 2010 (UTC)

  • My initial estimates are around a 50% drop rate on "laying" BRICKOs. I've only used it for about 100 adventures so far and I admit my spading is sloppy at best, but that's how it looks. I'm going to use it all day which will consist of about 500 or so adventures so I'll post more later. P.S. My BRICKO chick is currently level 44 buffed. No clue if level matters, but my gut instinct is that it does not. --Ralkin 05:15, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
    • I do believe it is around 50%. I'll get the real numbers via my mafia logs tomorrow. --Ralkin 06:46, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

Does it have a chance to drop BRICKOs every round or at the end of combat? --Missingno 10:37, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

  • Only end of combat. I stasis'd a few enemies and nothing happened until the monster dropped. I mean it's possible there's a very, very low rate but I doubt it. Seems to be end-of-combat only.--Ralkin 22:21, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

BRICKO brick laying: OK, so...this isn't conclusive yet, and I don't know if weight matters. I suspect it doesn't, but the weight of my BRICKO chick hovered between 38 and 47 all day. I received 263 BRICKO bricks at the end of combat out of 538 combats, which is a 48.88%. This is also in line with my estimation of a ~50% drop rate the day before. Unfortunately parsing the logs from the day before is a little confusing. Anyway, the BRICKO chick seems to lay BRICKO bricks about 50% of the time.--Ralkin 04:27, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

References

I believe that the line that is said when a brick is dropped is a reference to this joke, "Why did the chicken cross the road? To see a man lay bricks."--Clarinet 03:56, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

  • Probably not. No mention of crossing the road, or men laying bricks. --CG1:t,c,e 04:05, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

Attack info

@45 pounds: No action - 49 rounds; hit for 50 - 21 rounds; hit for 55 - 24 rounds. @30 pounds: No action - 85 rounds; hit for 35 - 48 rounds; hit for 40 - 43 rounds. Also tried one combat each at 41, 42, and 43 pounds to make sure it wasn't rounding to the nearest 5 or something. --Johnny Treehugger 16:11, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

Equipment Messages

Henry Cabot Henhouse III scratches at the ground in a circle around the maypole.

Henry Cabot Henhouse III's head bobs back and forth under the Tam.

Henry Cabot Henhouse III looks like he's kissing the ground, what with the pecking and the wax lips.

These are the three messages i got, if someone could put them in the right format for the wiki. Thanks.
