A thin layer of latex protects you from harm, but it's not what you think -- it's a shield made of balloons! Oh, that was what you thought? Okay. Sorry.
Type: off-hand item (shield) Damage Reduction: 3 Muscle Required: 10 Cannot be discarded
Enchantment: Deals 2-3 damage to attackers
may have a message on dealing damage, but i can't tell you. HC sucks.-Brion
The damage text appears as follows: "Your opponent brushes up against your shield and gets shocked for 3 damage." Disc 03:11, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
Does the shield provide any clownosity?

That only adds up to 3 Clownosity. But that means it provides less than 2, obviously.
Tried it with Clownskin Belt, Bloody Clown Pants, and a Balloon Shield. Failed the test. So that means it doesn't give any Clownosity. --JohnAnon 06:23, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

Something important?
I went to smash my balloon shield when met with a message: "This item may be valuable. Do you really want to smash it?" I can't make any more shields right now, so all I can do is ask questions. Does it smash into something special? What makes the balloon shield so special that I would not want to smash it?--PsychoBoy 21:34, 16 September 2008 (UTC) -Oh and one other point, this message only appeared for this item. - Gave me two powders. The message probably pops up for all non-tradeable/non-discardable/etc items. Though why that flag is set for this item is beyond me. --Bagatelle 22:03, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
