Talk:Banishing Shout
Would the pancakes message perhaps be a reference to this scene from Cabin Fever? --BlanketThief 21:08, 23 March 2012 (CET)
Dang, if only it was "Glory to the Blood God!"...because one thing that KoL sadly lacks is references to MajorMUD. sigh. --Dram 22:18, 7 April 2012 (CEST)
Running Away
Used this on the Possessed silverware drawer and still received the Shiny butcherknife so I guess it ends combat in the same way as running away. Can't see any real value in adding this, but thought I'd mention it.--Doucy 15:34, 7 April 2012 (CEST)
Well, if it really works like running again, it could give the Brave Sir Robin trophy eventually - without wasting adventures. So definetely worth mentioning. Edir 17:45, 7 April 2012 (CEST)
- You still waste the adventure.--Toffile 22:21, 7 April 2012 (CEST)
- I took his point to be: yes, it costs an adventure, but it's not a total waste like running away because you're using that turn to banish an enemy. --timrem 23:05, 7 April 2012 (CEST)
- Yes, it will cost 5000 MP in an MP starved run. It's still a waste.--Toffile 04:41, 8 April 2012 (CEST)
- "eventually". If you're doing it to banish monsters, and the trophy comes as a bonus, nothing is lost. They don't all need be done in one run. (Just defending my point, not trying to be contrary) --timrem 04:53, 8 April 2012 (CEST)

Empty Area
Banished all three monsters in the Cobb's Knob Kitchens (Oven, then Master, then Sous). Only had two adventures left, but got normal combats (Sous, then Oven). All three still listed as banished on the character page. Worth mentioning? Worth further investigation?Alkahest 07:55, 9 April 2012 (CEST)
- it's on the banishing page. --Evilkolbot 09:58, 9 April 2012 (CEST)
