From A KoL Wiki

9 3/4 level sauceror, in swashbuckling getup, see "Pirate Brochure" -- 'This is a brochure advertising some sort of mail-order pirate exercise program that's "guaranteed to have you hoisting ten times your weight in just minutes a day."

Type: usable Selling Price: 250 Meat'

and "The Big Book of Pirate Insults" only. --coach_z 06:51, 4 December 2007 (CST)

Do you already have a dictionary, abridged dictionary, or have completed the L11 quest? It may be like the Forged Travel Documents: one to a customer.--AltyMcAltAlt 06:55, 4 December 2007 (CST)

I'm guessing that each character gets only one of these options in their store. Moxies get the pamphlet. Other classes get the other options. Please confirm. ColtsScore 07:56, 4 December 2007 (CST)

I was a TT and had the pamphlet. So it doesn't necessarily match your mainstat. --Prestige 08:20, 4 December 2007 (CST)
  • As a pastamancer I have the brochure (muscle) maybe they match your class's tertiary stat? --CheezyBob 23:33, 4 December 2007 (CST)
  • Also a pastamancer, but I have the pamphlet. Not sure that stats have anything to do with it, but for what it's worth, 88Mus/124Mys/95Mox (unbuffed). --Pandaba 23:53, 4 December 2007 (CST)
  • Just checked two of my multis, both disco bandits, one can buy the pamphlet (moxie) and the other can buy the brochure (muscle again). Any ideas as to how this is determined? --CheezyBob 23:56, 4 December 2007 (CST)
  • TT, lvl 13, saw the tract.--Ac1983fan
  • Perhaps it's by moon sign, or by which of your stats is highest/lowest/in the middle. Both of my accounts are working on the Wossname, so I can't help at all with this, but has anyone from Bad Moon tried taking a look? --Deusnoctum 00:01, 6 December 2007 (CST)
  • I'm in post-king bad moon and I have the brochure (I'm a seal clubber). It might just be another one of those playerrandom things.--Yiab 10:39, 6 December 2007 (CST)
  • I'm a Mys Pasta, and I've got the Mys booster.. I'm guessing moon sign, and possibly mainstat when no moon avail?--Terry 11:55, 6 December 2007 (CST)
  • One char is a DB, with a moxie sign, has the moxie booklet; other one is a TT, with bad moon, has the myst booklet. Seems random. --YankaTexee 13:09, 9 December 2007 (CST)
  • DB, Blender, muscle book. Stats are 75(56)/75(58)/131(81) --Lostcalpolydude 23:51, 10 December 2007 (CST)
  • S, Muscle class, muscle book. Stats are 49/64/42, unlocked during level 8 quest. --Blastphemist 01:11, 9 January 2008 (CST)
  • pirate brochure still available as a TT, Vole, 187 (161)/101 (115)/169 (114). Been forgetting to check this each ascension, but it's the same for me as it was when the cove first opened. Could this be simply tied to your character? --CheezyBob 15:40, 8 March 2008 (CST)
    • Looking at the talk about multi-using 31337 scrolls and the fact that on two seperate occasions it has favored knick-knacks for me, this might also be tied to some hidden characteristic of your character... --CheezyBob 15:47, 8 March 2008 (CST)
  • On a recent radio show, they mentioned that it is random which one you get each ascension.--Pantsless 00:19, 9 March 2008 (CST)
    • They did now? That seems likely, I have the pamphlet now, so yea, it is not constant for each person. Randomness seems likely. --CheezyBob 14:24, 21 March 2008 (CDT)

Zombie Slayer reference

  • Btw the Krasue is close to correct, but one critical part is that it doesn't have a body, it's just a floating head with entrails. Where as the Penanggalan has a body and the head detaches and flies around with it's entrails attached. --Serin 20:00, 22 August 2012 (CEST)
