The meat gain message mentions the 'rotting bear arm'. To me, this looks like you only get the meat in Zombie Slayer, or at least there is a different message. Could this be checked? --KingBobson 21:05, 1 September 2012 (CEST)

It might have been bugged this morning, but it was doing the meat drop while in aftercore, that aftercore was post zombie, but the arms were also bought post zombie, so that might have some bearing. I have since ascended back into zombie path so can't test outside. The meat was dropping when attacking bats in the hole, giants in the castle, and the various airship monsters, dropped on the low end 52 meat in the hole, and dropped a high of 70 meat in the castle at level 13. Now that I'm back in ZS I'm seeing meat drops of about 26 at level 6/7, should have kept better track of it. --Bombar 00:35, 2 September 2012 (CEST)

Here is an example of it producing meat in after-core from my session log (Don't know why mafia is reporting the skill as CHANCE): [970] Giant's Castle Encounter: Alphabet Giant Round 0: bombar wins initiative! Round 1: bombar casts CHANCE! Round 2: alphabet giant drops 29 attack power. Round 2: alphabet giant drops 29 defense. You gain 67 Meat. --Bombar 00:29, 2 September 2012 (CEST)

Post-HCZ aftercore is still producing meat and the "rotting" message today. Meat drop values: 60 56 63 54 69 70 63 54 57 53 68 58 59 52 70 62 67 52 70 56 54 62 64 64 58 67 55 58 68 53 62 67 67 60 67 54 66 53 67 68 64 53 61 63 53 67 55 62 63 57 66 54 68 68 69 50 64 56. Edited the article. We still need someone to try it in a non-zombie run/aftercore. --Greycat 23:53, 2 September 2012 (CEST)

Using this skill with freshly unboxed arms, having never been in a Zombie ascension: Monster attack power increased by -20 Monster defense increased by -20 After that, a good-sized chunk of meat falls off of the rotting bear arm. It's disgusting, but not so disgusting that you don't immediately grab it and put it in your pocket. You gain 63 Meat. ...Clearly this is a bug of some kind. On top of the nonsensical rotting meat falling off a non-rotting arm, it also says attack/defense "increased" by a negative number instead of "reduced" by a positive number. Which is the same thing, of course, but surely not intentional. --Guyy 03:15, 8 September 2012 (CEST)

Just freed the king after HC-Zombie, did not take off my bear arms, used a stone wool and visited some cave bears; seems to be fixed:

You offer them a free hug, but it turns out it's a bone-cracking hug that costs 24 damage and leaves them shaken up afterward.
You gain 27 hit points.
Monster attack power reduced by 10
Monster defense reduced by 10
Concentrating on your navel, you zoom out of the way, and your opponent is unable to reach you. --Terion 03:56, 30 November 2012 (CET)

It seems that enemies need to be strong enough, or they won't be deleveled. I was using this skill in the spooky forest and madness bakery, and it would display the skill message, but would not deleve the monsters. I then switched over to using it in the Neverending party, and it's functioning as it should. --Rick Tyger (talk) 06:54, 12 March 2022 (UTC)
