I've tried summoning the demon "" at the Spookyraven altar with no hat and no familiar, but didn't get any special messages. Does anyone have any idea what this might mean?

Then there are grey letters, but that's also been solved: summon "Bertrand" at the summoning chamber. Now there are black letters, and using a soul coin at the jukebox gets you a record which gives a skill depending on whether you're musc/myst/mox. Fragment frequency and length
I notice usually everyone has 3-4 character fragments. One of the people who has longer and more frequent fragments is wearing equipment with the effect "reveal secrets". Don't know if anything else plays into it. --Neg 08:10, 25 October 2012 (CEST)
The first time I got this adventure I was not wearing any porquoise bracelets and I got 2 letters. The next time I got the adventure I was wearing 2 porquoise bracelets and I still only got 2 letters. Wearing a soul monocle gets you more letters. Porquoise bracelets are only needed to get the "lack of a key under the refrigerator" adventure. According to the forums, we're up to black text. (Gray, red, blue, black) Someone claimed that all but black were solved, but didn't actually tell us forum-readers what the text was (or was believed to be) --Stannius 20:16, 25 October 2012 (CEST)
- Red is something along the lines of "Silent brethren, approach with your beret doffed in reverence, silence your only companion. The time has come to arm yourselves against the shrieking of the legumes. The requisite tools can be found at the redoubt." - In other words, take off your hat and come with silence. The location makes sense if you think of the Boss Bat lair as a redoubt of sorts, and legume = beans.
- Blue is something like "Relax and gather your strength. Someone changed the password for the lounge. Ask Bertrand for it.".
- Black is "BIDE YOUR TIME, BRETHREN. INFILTRATE WHERE APPROPRIATE AND CONVENIENT. MAINTAIN RADIO SILENCE AND ALSO CONTINUE TO MAINTAIN EVERY OTHER TYPE OF SILENCE. "--Toffile 04:50, 26 October 2012 (CEST)
