Talk:Best Meal of My Life
So given the notes, I am guessing that one has to do this on two (consecutive?) Feasts of Boris? --DataVortex 21:16, 22 July 2006 (CDT)
- Where did the page say that they have to be eaten on the same day? Besides, 30 burgers and 5 orders of fries would consume 70 fullness, which is twice what you could get on a single Feast of Boris. Also, there hasn't been a Feast of Boris since the White Citadel was introduced, and somebody has gotten the trophy, so it can't possibly involve that. --Quietust 21:18, 22 July 2006 (CDT)
Anyone know if this can be accumulated over ascensions, or if it must be done in a single ascension? --Nucular 21:31, 24 July 2006 (CDT)
Every other eating/drinking trophy can be done over multiple ascensions. I can't see why this one would be different. --Crowther 17:34, 25 July 2006 (CDT)
Yeah, just checking....>_>--Nucular 03:05, 26 July 2006 (CDT)
What happened to the reference about Zarathustra being played while Harold & Kumar ate their meal? Without that particular piece of information, the particular reference doesn't seem to make any contextual sense. It would be like having a reference that says "A meal is something a person eats when they are hungry." or something. --sl1me 16:51, 29 July 2006 (CDT)
- I wanted it noted i'm extremely tempted to add a reference that reads: "A meal is something a person eats when they are hungry."--Practitioner of Saucy Arts 10:30, 3 August 2006 (CDT)
- Same, practicioner. --Unnatural20 05:03, 4 August 2006 (CDT)
It can be done over multiple ascensions, i tried it, it can be done, just to clear it up. Poola 9:59, 2 August 2006 (EST)
Ok, who edited it so that it said "Your also entitled to a heart attack"? --Cheeetar 06:43, 11 August 2006 (AEST)
- That's part of the message when you purchase the trophy. --Shima 04:00, 11 August 2006 (CDT)
- Fixed. --Ion42 04:26, 11 August 2006 (CDT)
Oh. Well sorry for that. --Cheeetar 01:43, 12 August 2006 (AEST)
For those of you who add pictures to the page, when I got the trophy, I had a heart (the image of the vampireheart, but it could be one that looks the same) to the left of the '!' telling me I also earned a heartattack. Anyone feel like adding it? --Ferdawoon 05:27, 16 August 2006 (CDT)
I just made a minor edit to the notes. Due to my own experimentaion, I know that you do NOT need to drink the cola's during your current run. During the same run, I'm not going to be able to test any more, but I know that it doesn't have to be during your current run.
Whoever above didn't sign their name, but I can confirm it. I didn't drink any colas this run, and yet I remain eligible for this trophy. --Lxndr 09:21, 25 March 2007 (CDT)
It does seem that you need to drink the colas AFTER you finish consuming the required food. This is implied by the text in the trophy hut. I am 99% sure I drank the requisite colas, then consumed the food. I was not eligible until I drank the requisite colas again. If this is so, it should be noted. Can anyone confirm this? --alacrity 04:14, 10 July 2007 (CDT)
Yeah, I'm pretty sure now that the drinks need to be consumed afterwards, since I've found and drank several Cloaka Colas found from the Barrel full of Barrels and thus I assumed the requirement must be filled with those but when the trophy didn't appear as buyable, I started drinking the cherry and diet colas one by one, checking after each one if the trophy was available since I was thinking that maybe it's possible that I was missing one or two of one of them. After thinking two of each I figured it might be the case that the drinks you had before eating the burgers and fries might not count. So I bought 2 Diet Colas and 2 Cherry Colas to accompany the earlier ones I had acquired from the Barrel. After that the trophy finally became available. This proves that the barrel colas function as well as the ones actually bought from White Citadel. (There was a slight possibility that they could've been different items just with the same name, similar to some monsters having two versions of themselves.) Sorry for the long post. --Seko 09:59, 22 January 2008 (CST)
minimax
- the recent edits updating the "minimum time to complete" number make no mention of quantities of spice melange or distention pills, nor of the Feast of Boris. i can't get up the enthusiasm to build me a spreadsheet right now, but i have a feeling that all these things could affect this. anyone care to do the maths? --Evilkolbot 13:41, 4 April 2012 (CEST)
