Talk:Big Candy
Does he call you "meat-man" regardless of gender? --Yunatwilight 05:34, 20 December 2011 (CET)
- He does. I guess when you're made out of candy, all those meat-made people look the same to you... --Yatsufusa 14:10, 20 December 2011 (CET)
References
Possible reference to Jabba the Hutt? According to the picture they could re relatives... --Beliar Lightbearer 05:43, 20 December 2011 (CET)
- I don't see the resemblance, I'm sorry.--Toffile 05:59, 20 December 2011 (CET)
- I do, absolutely. Let's see: (1) He's on a sail barge. (2) He's got a dancing slave girl with two licorice whips growing out of her hair. (3) She tries to strangle him. (4) There's a huge ugly monster beneath the barge. (5) He's got bounty hunters. (6) You use the Force on one of them. (7) The CGI band is worse than the original band. Yup, I'd say this is an obvious Jabba reference. --Baltar 06:21, 20 December 2011 (CET)
- Space Wars ripped off a ton of stuff, sorry.--Toffile 06:39, 20 December 2011 (CET)
- Possible reference? Ha! It's pretty much as close as you can get without Lucas filing a cease & desist notice for copyright infringement. (Thank goodness for fair use.) --Itsatrap 07:17, 20 December 2011 (CET)
- As I almost never read combat messages I could just go by the image, but now, after reading through all of it, you're pretty much right. ;) --Beliar Lightbearer 15:02, 20 December 2011 (CET)
Image
Too big to upload? Maybe someone else can try. Nadando 06:07, 20 December 2011 (CET)
- It times out for me before finishing uploading. (So having admin rights doesn't help.) --Starwed 08:53, 20 December 2011 (CET)
- Actually, the image seems to have uploaded fine, you just can't view it at File:biggus_candius.gif. --Starwed 09:16, 20 December 2011 (CET)
Scaling
Even with the tourniquet on, he doesn't seem to scale. --Coderanger 02:42, 21 December 2011 (CET)
Location (Fight Big Candy)
Is there some sort of consensus decision to not have an article on the location? We have, after all, articles on most almost-separate small things in the game, including both The Gummi Mines and The Gummi Mine. (Currently, by the way, I don't even know what happens to the location once you've beaten BC, and the wiki doesn't really say.) --Notsupposedtobehere 18:23, 21 December 2011 (CET)
- It disappears from The Candy Diorama. --Baltar 18:26, 21 December 2011 (CET)
