Beginning to suspect this has a very low drop rate like duct tape. Out of 25 encounters with clingy pirate, only 4 clingwrap with 2 Mr. A Juniors and Phatlewt. --Devion 13:20, 4 December 2007 (CST)

Purely anecdotally (ie. I haven't been keeping a log of the results from my adventures), I just had three Bit of Clingfilms drop in consecutive adventures, after attacking with a Flirtatious feather. This was after spending countless adventures attacking with duck-on-a-string and using various other items and effects to increase monsters' item drop rate. --Stompy 23:10, 15 January 2008 (AEST)

Weirdly, I think the flirtatious feather trick actually works. I went through seven encounters with the clingy pirate, with no drops, and then tried feathers, and the drop rate for the next ten adventures has been 50%. --Circaea 14:10, 23 January 2008 (CST)

Verified numbers that give no result
