I can confirm this - after several days of using the item, including swapping it out several times, it still retains the count. MolotovH (talk) 21:24, 4 September 2013 (UTC)

I just ascended, and looking at it in Hangk's, it still has a kill count listed. It might get wiped when I pull it out of Hangk's, but I'm not breaking hardcore to find out.--Noskilz (talk) 22:37, 5 September 2013 (UTC)
