Talk:Bone collar
From A KoL Wiki
I got this from the Arena with my Comma Chameleon today. --Amokk 04:16, 8 September 2006 (CDT)
- What can you equip it on? NPZR, Spooky Pirate Skeleton, other boney familiar? sounds kinda shaman-ish? --JRSiebz (☎|§|‡) 04:25, 8 September 2006 (CDT)
- If I were to guess, I'd imagine it to be a new familiar, probably in relation to the Supertinkering changes. Something we haven't yet discovered. --Aardvark (Talk | Contribs) 04:31, 8 September 2006 (CDT)
- My Chameleon became a "Misshapen Animal Skeleton" and has been doing howls and some serious spooky damage. So, I'm thinking totally new famliar separate from Supertinkering.--Amokk 04:33, 8 September 2006 (CDT)
- It could be a Chameleon only familiar. I've been
snoopingspading around familiar description pages and have yet to find a new (public) one. --JRSiebz (☎|§|‡) 04:34, 8 September 2006 (CDT) - Might be a chameleon-only familiar, or it might be something that hasn't yet been fully implemented, and these drops are just glitches. There are no familiar descriptions above 54 (yet), so it doesn't seem as if this familiar has been properly introduced. --Aardvark (Talk | Contribs) 04:36, 8 September 2006 (CDT)
- I would suspect, actually, that it may be an upcoming familiar ... available during the upcoming in-game Halloween, through Mr. Store? That _is_ scheduled to happen in only ... 12 days, now. --Bork 04:44, 8 September 2006 (CDT)
- I think it is a Chameleon/Doppelshifter familiar only. I am pretty sure it was mentioned on a radio show or on forums that there might be familiars which you only can access with doppelshifter transforming/Chameleon imitating. -- NitraMo SA TT 06:06, 8 September 2006 (CDT)

- Actually, it can't be a Mr. Store familiar, because Comma Chameleons can't get those through the Arena (unless, as mentioned, it's a total glitch for dropping at all, in which case it could be). So, unlikely but remotely possible.--Amokk 04:55, 8 September 2006 (CDT)
- this is for SKELETAL pet. At least description says so. So why someone added this is used for chameleon? It seem's we got a new pet. Zigota Lt 11:59, 8 September 2006 (CDT)
- So, here's my problem. I was one of the lucky few to get a bone collar this morning. Do you think the Misshapen Animal Skeleton will get rolled out sometime in the (distant) future? Or will this item become a rare item? If the Misshapen Animal Skeleton gets rolled out, I'd like to sell it now. If it stays rare, I'll keep it on my display case. So what should I do? --MaxVance 16:53, 8 September 2006 (CDT)
- In the forum thread, it was pointed out that this item (and the name of the familiar it supposedly equips on) bears an uncanny resemblance to a character in "The Nightmare Before Christmas" - this will almost undoubtedly be rolled out as part of "The Nightmare Before Crimbo" (or "Crimboween", or whatever you want to call it). It's your call, really, but I'd sell it for big bucks if I were you. --Quietust 16:57, 8 September 2006 (CDT)
- D'OH! Of course ... Crimboween ...! Why the heck didn't I think of that myself? Good call, Quietust. --Bork 19:07, 8 September 2006 (CDT)

- Maybe it'll be a skeletal dog-like familiar. Cause dogs wear collars >_> Repelex 18:26, 10 September 2006 (CDT)
