It seems that the longer messages are usually the critical hit / fumble messages, but it's hard to gauge with scaling monsters. The alarm messages are probably the ones, so I'll edit it to reflect that. --Mike Antleg 01:46, 22 December 2007 (CST)

• Critical hits aren't too hard with a scaling monster; a bit of delevel and then only a critical will hit you. I've been opening my fights with funking a pair of plot holes (after the auto-pickpocket) and then plinking to death. And yes, the critical hit is the filleted and deep-fried by the alarm-summoned robot.--Terion 21:21, 22 December 2007 (CST)
