Talk:Bowl of Bounty-Os
Severed ears: Diablo I & II PvP reference?
- Possibly, but severed ears and bounty hunting have gone together forever I think.--Benjiboi 20:24, 25 June 2007 (CDT)
-I think it's a reference to Earios. --Blzbob 17:54, 25 February 2008 (CST)

I'm fairly certain the "shred the roof of your mouth" part is a reference to the Simpsons, when Bart eats the Krusty-Os and gets a jagged piece of metal stuck in his throat. --promeatiusPromeatius 14:01, 27 June 2007 (CDT)
- Actually, the description reminded me of the cereal Ohs (Quaker Honey Graham Ohs), which DO shred up your mouth in about two bites. -MarcyRoni 22:52, 9 August 2007 (CDT)
It could as easily be a bit reference to a Cap'n Crunch cereal reference in Monkey Island, where Guybrush mentions that he liked how that cereal chewed up the roof of his mouth. Or even how Cap'n Crunch is reputed to cause lacerations and general damage to the inside of your mouth when you eat it. (I've never experience such a thing myself, but some people might have more sensitive tissue there.) --Sparksol 21:25, 5 July 2007 (CDT)
