Talk:Boxing-glove-in-a-box
It has no use link and I have no idea what it is good for. Also, nothing seems to happen when it is sent as a gift. --Bale 08:09, 6 April 2011 (UTC)
Is there a combat use? --Serin 08:34, 6 April 2011 (UTC)
- Nope. --Bale 08:42, 6 April 2011 (UTC)
I'm really hoping the lack of a "use" link is an oversight. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 17:59, 8 April 2011 (UTC)
I get the feeling that none of these devices actually work; they are inventions that you come up with that don't actually pan out. --Stinkoman87--Stinkoman87 12:43, 9 April 2011 (UTC)
- Hmmm... considering the consumables you can learn, I really don't think this is the case.--Arashmin 16:21, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
- I think it's probably just an emulation of real life, where out of 7 ideas you may get 3 that actually work out --Serin 17:08, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
The item was not working properly for a few days after its initial release. It should be working as of last weekend, however. --Gemelli 19:37, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
- It's doing something new, but I doubt it's what it was supposed to do. Filing bug report now. --Flargen 20:34, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
- Bah. I'll re-open the investigation; something clearly needs to be pushed out to live, as it works fine on dev. Sorry! --Gemelli 13:13, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
- Almost there. Turns out there's a way for the recipient to (apparently) permanently immunize themselves from this item. I've k-mailed you directly, since you requested that. Against a non-immunized person it works splendidly. Oh, and I filed a separate bug report for a more minor glitch that can occur when it otherwise works as intendend. --Flargen 17:47, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
- CDMoyer has done his thing; the behavior should now work consistently for everyone. Let me know if that immunizing thing still works; my guess is that it won't at this point, but who knows! --Gemelli 21:31, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
- Looks good. The only quirk left that I can find is the "You gain 0 hit point" business when you're currently at 0. The other two issues I mentioned no longer seem to be happening, and those were the actually bothersome issues. --Flargen 22:32, 14 April 2011 (UTC)

It appears that when opening mysterious presents when you have multiple, the boxing-glove-in-a-box will be opened first no matter when you received it. --magnet0 16:40, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
