Talk:Break It On Down

  • I'm fairly certain that this skill stuns for one turn. There's never an attack message, hit or miss, from the opponent when this skill is used. In fact, the place that would have the attack message has the "Your opponent regains their footing..." part of the skill message, which is also consistent with stun.--Hyp nobono 16:44, 27 March 2010 (UTC)
  • Doing some testing: if BIoD is a 100% 1 turn stun as I suspect, I should be able to win a fight using just it. Current Moxie is 42 (from Furry Suit). Wearing a Little Round Pebble, to get initiate. Also wearing Lord Spookyraven's Spectacles, Lucky Rabbit's Foot, and Baron Von Ratsworth's Monocle. No familiar. Fighting in the Fun House:

Bugbear-In-The-Box: Didn't attack, Didn't attack, Didn't attack Lemon-In-The-Box: Didn't attack, Didn't attack, Didn't attack Creepy Clown: Didn't attack, Didn't attack, Didn't attack If anyone wants to be more thorough, they can, but this is looking pretty solid right now.--Hyp nobono 14:12, 29 March 2010 (UTC)

I tried using this skill against the Spirit of New Wave in the Volcanic Cave fight, figuring I could plink him to death with the help of my Misshapen Animal Skeleton. Oddly enough, Break It On Down failed to stun the Spirit some of the time, allowing me free hits on him. But he isn't stunned every round, unlike anything else that I've hit them with BIOD for every round. Why is this? --TheNachomancer 05:40, 8 December 2010 (UTC)

To latch onto this old question, I just had the stun fail (after a few successful uses) against a bee thoven. Why? Notsupposedtobehere 12:36, 31 July 2011 (CEST)
The bee thoven apparently "resists stunning". Has anyone spaded how that works, exactly? Notsupposedtobehere 12:38, 31 July 2011 (CEST)
