Talk:Brick of sand

From A KoL Wiki

So far, using 10 bricks with multiple use gives: "You can't build anything with 10 sand bricks. It's nothing personal, it's just physically impossible for anything to be built with 10 sand bricks." Similar messages with fewer bricks. --Sparksol 21:29, 25 June 2007 (CDT)

Where is it found?--Zelandoni 22:41, 25 June 2007 (CDT)

You make then with handfuls of sand. --Sparksol

25 bricks for a sand castle --IdHitIt 23:12, 25 June 2007 (CDT)

No, 20 bricks for a sand castle, which is put at your campsite in place of the house. Looks to be twice as good as the house for restores. Mr. Blonde 03:38, 26 June 2007 (CDT)

My guess is that the range of damage will prove to be 60-80, but given how expensive they are in the mall, it will take me time to save up enough to test more bricks.--Foggy 09:54, 26 September 2007 (CDT)

Sandfuls of Hand

Is that an intentional joke or something? --Cheezehog 19:42, 15 April 2008 (CDT)

Hey Everyone

Thought I'd be generous and let you all know exactly what (and why) I edited in that fashion; perhaps in the past using numbers greater than 20 yielded a SandCastle, but trying with 24, 23, 22, or 21 bricks today yielded no sandcastle, and the same message given when you use less than 20 bricks; perhaps it is possible now to make multiples at time (40 bricks, 60 bricks, etc) or a new item has been introduced/is in the works for sandcrafting.

Attack/Defense Delevel?

I just used Entangle Noodles against The Big Wisniewski followed by a brick of sand. This was the result:

Monster attack power reduced by 25

Monster defense reduced by 30

Does this happen every time you use a brick on an entangled monster? Or a stunned monster in general? Just The Big Wisniewski? Is this a chained effect that is documented elsewhere? I checked the page about Delevel and did not find anything. At any rate, that is a lot, more than I have ever seen before and it would almost top - or bottom, rather - the Delevel page. --Brax 03:33, 14 January 2011 (UTC)

Deleveling gives explicit combat messages as of the update on November 1st, 2010.--P4n1q 01:00, 15 January 2011 (UTC)

  • Yes, I tried a brick of sand on its own and got a similar result. I figured if the brick did it, that must be on the page, already. But it seems nobody got around to doing that. In total I used it three times now (twice vs. The Big Wisniewski and once vs a centipede) and I always got something between 25 and 30. But that certainly needs proper spading before it can go on the page. --Brax 14:04, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
