Talk:Bruised Jaw

From A KoL Wiki

Effect

This replaces 1/3 of all letters in a message with 'm' if lowercase, and 'M' if uppercase. Tested this using a phrase with no 'm's in it, and spammed into /slimetube several hundred times, recorded the frequency, and came up with: 24440 possible replaceable characters, 8146 got replaced (33.33% +/- 0.60%. It does not replace spaces, symbols, numbers, or punctuation, just a-z and A-Z. --MindlessGames 22:33, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

This effect does not replace Blue messages. It did replace "http://url" hyperlinks until approximately 10 hours after rollover. --Urutsini 22:53, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

Is the effect affected by a WANG? --Erich

Nope, WANG does not change the effect --Urutsini 05:26, 2 December 2009 (UTC)

"You chuck the jawbruiser at Jick." Jick is jawbruisable. Tannenzaepfle 15:47, 3 December 2009 (UTC)

The effect does not seem to have the same affect on new players. I got a player with a 1 day old account (account created February 21, 2010 ; Last Login (today): February 22, 2010) to post the same message as me (Account Created: September 18, 2005 ; Last Login (today): February 22, 2010). Message: this is a messsage to test jawbruisers Me: tmis mm a messmgm to tmst mmmmrmismrm Him: thms is a mesmsamm mm test jawbruismrs Needs more checking in-to but it makes sence. New players with that effect could understandably get a little frustraited, especially when their calls for help end up looking like pure jibberish. --Moxom s 14:27, 22 February 2010 (UTC)
