Talk:CRIMBCO mug
You drink the Mon Tiki. It tastes a little better in your CRIMBCO mug! Too bad the handle breaks off when you're done. Stupid cheap mug.
You gain 23 Adventures.
You gain 41 Strongness. You gain 4 Drunkenness.
You lose some of an effect: Ode to Booze (4 Adventures) You gain 22 Adventures.
You gain 47 Strongness. You gain 4 Drunkenness.
You lose some of an effect: Ode to Booze (4 Adventures) You gain 22 Adventures.
You gain 44 Muscleboundness. You gain 4 Drunkenness.
You lose some of an effect: Ode to Booze (4 Adventures)

What does it do? Increase adventures? Is it used up on use? We are still lacking a lot of info on the page...--Remnant 09:38, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
"You drink the CRIMBCO wine. It tastes a little better in your CRIMBCO mug! Too bad the handle breaks off when you're done. Stupid cheap mug." So yeah, looks like it increases adventures and is used up. --Inso 10:40, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
Well, increases something. But is that just for the CRIMBCO wine, or any booze, and what kinda range are we looking at? --NeoTrup 11:27, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
Ducha de oro, w/ ode, blender (first drink): 22 adventures (9 str, 31 magic). So maybe nothing. --Noj Jorn 16:35, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
Perhaps it only increases stat gains, that would kinda fit in with the theme. --Fhthd 18:07, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
You drink the Corpse Island iced tea. It tastes a little better in your CRIMBCO mug! Too bad the handle breaks off when you're done. Stupid cheap mug. You gain 28 Adventures. You gain 30 Muscleboundness. You gain 36 Magicalness. You gain 28 Sarcasm. But it is a Myst day, and I'm running Ode. I'm not seeing anything significant... --Unnatural20 22:24, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
Based on my own spading, it seems like the mug may actually make any booze you drink out of it return its average stat and adventure gain every time. --Glazius 07 22:39, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
- Interesting idea, but my own tests seem to refute that.--ManaUser 05:01, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
- What tests? Mind posting? --Flargen 23:43, 21 December 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry, I didn't keep notes. But the gist of it is that I drank the same booze out of it three times with different results. Anyway, it seems to give at least one extra adventure (easily demonstrated by drinking plain beer), so averagizing is not what it does. --19:40, 23 December 2010 (UTC)

probably gives +1-3 adventure--Relyk 07:47, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
19 uses today with salty mouth on, and pumpkin beer, got advs ranging from 10 to 14. Inconclusive gain to advs, since without the mug the range is 9-14. Will run another 19 tomorrow.--Uzziah 17:38, 21 December 2010 (UTC)
- There's a slightly higher than 3% chance that you wouldn't have seen a 15 or 9 yet. Perhaps this simply eliminates the lowest adventure yield possible? We'll see what happens on your drinking tomorrow. If you still see 10-14 after 19 more consumptions, there's a less than .1% chance that the range is larger than that. --Flargen 23:43, 21 December 2010 (UTC)
- Wait, if Lemon-Claw's data is accurate, then it can't just remove the low-end. --Flargen 23:47, 21 December 2010 (UTC)
- Whoops, make that about a 19% chance you wouldn't have seen 15 yet. Forgot that salty mouth and beer are independent rolls. So not that terribly improbable. And a clannie has reported 9 without salty mouth. --Flargen 05:08, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
So using this and other data from myself and clannies, it seems this gives +1 adventures to just about everything, except for the CRIMBCO wine. All the data I have on that indicates that the base gains from wine + mug are 10-11 so far (before ode/blender), which is much higher than +1 would give, and also a smaller range than the wine normally gives. We need more data on the wines to be sure the handful or so of wines this has been tried with just weren't kind of lucky to all have 2 results. Though given how everything else that's CRIMBCO has only 2 possible adventure yields, I wouldn't be entirely surprised. --Flargen 05:08, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
Ok I got 2 at 15 today with a salty mouth, ode and pumpkin beer which is 1 more than the max, so definitely the crimbco mug adds at least 1 adv. --Uzziah 11:39, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
- Good, that makes sense, then. I drank a few wine+mugs, say a range of 13-15 adventures with ode, so a range of 10-12. So slightly expanded the 10-11 I had seen earlier, but still less variance than one would expect. --Flargen 08:30, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
