I added a section on the special messages sometimes given, but it needs to be expanded. (I know there's one about it shaking and making smoke, for instance.) Also, are they random, or do they occur at specific usage numbers? --Starwed 17:11, 6 January 2006 (Central Standard Time)

Ah, I see. But then why are so many of the notes about the Chef-in-the-box rather than the chef-in-the-box? I'll leave it up to you, but it seems they should be removed as well? New Explosion Results?

My chef-in-the-box exploded today and gave NO chef-in-the-box parts....only food items. Could this be a change in the chef-in-the-box?--Foggy 10:42, 28 August 2006 (CDT)

  • I'm pretty sure it's random. I've also had times where the explosion gave me nearly everything back (everything but the smart skull [which broke] and the spring). --Quietust 10:51, 28 August 2006 (CDT)

It's probably a supply issue; more people create and sell the complete boxen, driving down the price. Just a guess, though. --TimRem 19:43, 27 June 2010 (UTC)

Explosion

  • about a hundred uses. it's on the Chef-in-the-box (Campground) page. or it used to be a hundred, before the revamp. i've not checked recently. --Evilkolbot 01:41, 17 September 2011 (CEST)
  • Note that as of now, the chef requires ~100 or so Fancy uses to blow, else it doesn't even get used. --Erich 03:35, 17 September 2011 (CEST)
