I managed to get both this and the jingle bell through the "photocopy Uncle Crimbo / run away / fight Mr. Mination" method, and I can verify that you can use both once per day...meaning that if you use one, it doesn't cancel out your ability to use the other one that day. --Sirjeffreyofvistledorf 05:23, 25 December 2010 (UTC)

Random or not?
I get Mystic Circle a lot with my Turtle Tamer. Most often I forget about the paperweight and use it when falling-down drunk to acquire the effect for the next day. Every single time I did this, it is Mystic Circle. I wonder if it will always be the effect corresponding to your lowest attribute (I know, MYS is my secondary stat, I should increase it) if you use it at the end of the day. Or perhaps it's based on what you used most during the day. Currently I am in my first HC ascension and fight with Shieldbutt the entire time, using up MP. Does anyone have a similar feeling? Perhaps someone can try and only attack with a melee weapon a whole day and see if it turns out to be the Square. Then switch to ranged and it may be the Triangle. --Brax 16:57, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
