Talk:Cocktail napkin
From A KoL Wiki
This item has a different message when used on the clingy pirate. I didn't write it down, but it has something to do with writing your phone number and then she goes away. --Kazim 08:27, 4 December 2007 (CST)
- Never mind, I added it myself. --Kazim 09:33, 4 December 2007 (CST)
When used against a Clingy Pirate, does it allow you to run away and consume an adventure, or is it more like the scraps of paper where it's as though you had never fought anything? Bakapyrite 19:45, 6 December 2007 (CST)
- looks to me like the latter. unfortunately it also seems to break "on the trail". is this a general function of running away, or of scrapping, or is it just me seeing the rng's tricks as mechanics? --Evilkolbot 05:26, 9 December 2007 (CST)
- Without knowing the answer to your question specifically, I can still speculate. I assume you used the napkin against a Clingy Pirate while being On The Trail of a Clingy Pirate? In that case, maybe the napkin effect is actually more like Harold's Bell? Or were the circumstances different? Bakapyrite 00:53, 14 December 2007 (CST)
When you use the cocktail napkin on the second round of combat against a clingy pirate, you get the damage effect. Therefore, if you want to temporarily remove the clingy pirate from this area, you have to use the napkin on the first round of combat. --Mr Crac 14:38, 30 December 2007 (CST)
