Talk:Crate Expectations (The Sea Floor)

Hmm.... definitely no cooldown period, because I got two in a row. Also, yes, it consumes an adventure (I wasn't sure at first). -Greycat 13:15, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
There might be a "warmup" period though. Yesterday I burned ~50 turns farming for sea fruit/veggies at the ocotpus garden, then started spending turns at the trench before they started dropping (~ 1 per 10-15 turns). Today, I spent ~40 turns at the trench before they started dropping. --Grimdel 17:29, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
- Maybe it's limited to Zones with Intense Pressure. I got 8 crates at the Marinara Trench, but none at the Octopus's Garden, the Wreck of the Edgar Fitzsimmons or Mer-Kin Outpost (but on the last one I spend only 5 Adventures). --Yatsufusa 17:58, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
- I've gotten crates from the Outpost.--Toffile 18:26, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
- Also from the garden--Biffcool 09:03, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
- There is a higher chance of encountering in the deeper areas, I think. Should be spaded out, perhaps. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Betrayer (talk • contribs) on 21:09, 4 September 2010
- It's like a 5% chance, that's all. Zones with skippable non-combats are better simply because skipping them gives you another roll for the crate without using up an adventure or other resources. --Flargen 05:31, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
- I agree- I don't think being in deeper areas improves the chances. I got one in the Octopus's Garden in my first 10 turns. --Mr. Green 16:07, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

I spent 180 adventures underwater after the third layer was finished, and didn't find a single waterlogged crate. I strongly suspect they cannot be obtained any longer. --Pilomotor 05:25, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
