Talk:Crimbo Elf
From A KoL Wiki
Whenever I adventure with my elfling, as opposed to any other familiar I own besides the sombrero or volleyball, I notice an increase in stat gains. It pales in comparison to when I have a level 30-35 volleyball, but does seem significant. Could Jick, in an attempt to compensate for adding the new GFs have given the elfling a +10 Volleyball effect? --Scorpios 15:24, 9 April 2006 (CDT)
- Err, that seems pretty unlikely. Are you sure you didn't have Mind Control cranked, or something? --Ricket 16:07, 9 April 2006 (CDT)
- On a Muscle sign, or a Moxie sign? Doubtful. I only started noticing it around when Ascension rolled out. I don't see how it's unlikely either. The elfling is a 200M meat familiar made useless without a bonus. Jick usually wouldn't be a prick, at least on something like that. --Scorpios 18:52, 10 April 2006 (CDT)
- The advantage the crimbo elf has is e-penis. It's rare, and it's price will continue to climb as time passes on. I think the +10 volleyball is unlikely because there are no familiars that give a +10 anything at all times, in addition to their other abilities. But meh, if you really think there's something to it, I suggest writing down the stat returns from each turn with a crimbo elf. I'll try to do the same. --Ricket 19:50, 10 April 2006 (CDT)
- I guess I should do that. Unfortunatly I can't adventure with my elfling much, want to finish up HC ASAP. But I'll write down when the situation calls for it (Valley, Up The Beanstalk, and between levels 11 and 12). --Scorpios 16:46, 29 April 2006 (CDT)
- In my limited elf-use since this came up, I've noticed no increase in stats when compared to another gravy fairy familiar. --Ricket 04:22, 3 June 2006 (CDT)
