Talk:Crimbo Town Toy Factory (2005)
I'm thinking they all drop the same items. At level 11 I'm getting 18-19 stat points from them, no XP effects active. --Starwed 23:51, 19 December 2005 (Central Standard Time)
- They do drop the same items, I kept count and got everything at least once from everyone. At level 8 I'm getting getting 10-11 stat points with no xp effects active. --Kataja 21:06 Finnish / Eastern European Time, 20 Dec 2005
They scale to your buffed stats. Normally, 25 stat points, at level 10. Potion of gr8ness later, I was getting 47 stat points an adventure. Good lord, this makes hardcore EASIER. Banjooie 02:11, 20 December 2005 (Central Standard Time)

Can we keep the discussion confined to this discussion page, rather than debating back and forth in the article itself? I moved the following content (within the box) here from the article, because it's sheer debate. -- Old Ned, feeling grumpy at 00:34, 22 December 2005 (Central Standard Time)
The lowest of the three stats determines the total stat points gain (rounded down). Example: Your lowest stat is Moxie at 138. 138 / 5 = 27.6. So if you add all the stat points you gain at the end of the fight it will equal 27. *Strokend has disproven this. Lowest stat is MYSTICALLITY, at 26 (BUFFED). 26 / 5 = 5.2. He got SEVEN stat points. *Strokend says he thinks it's based on moxie, because his moxie is 37 (buffed), and 37 / 5 = 7.4. *Call_me_ishmail can disprove this. Moxie is at 41 (no buffs active), and 41 / 5 = 8.2 but he got NINE stat points. *Call_me_ishmail thinks it's based on your primary stat. Primary is Mysticality at 46 (buffed) and 46 / 5 = 9.2 (Confirmation on these?)
Poochy here. These are my theories:
Chance of hitting enemy = (Muscle - lowest buffed stat)/18
Chance of dodging enemy's attack = (Moxie - lowest buffed stat)/18
Enemy HP = (Muscle + Mysticality + Moxie)/3
Stat gain is determined by your Moxie, but decimal points can be rounded up or down (a la Advance Wars, i.e. .2 has a 20% chance of being rounded up and an 80% chance of being rounded down, while .6 has a 60% chance of being rounded up and a 40% chance of being rounded down, etc.) Evidence: I'm a Sauceror with 96/219/1 Mus/Myst/Mox, and got 1 stat point.
All stats refer to buffed stats, not base. --Poochy 01:32, 22 December 2005 (Central Standard Time)
I can't understand why the elves beat me up so easily. Here are my current stats:
Level 9 Accordian Thief
Muscle: 75 (61)
Mysticality: 66 (62)
Moxie: 126 (81)
My moxie is the highest stat by FAR, but the elves seem to hit me about 30-50% of the time.

- I have seen the amount of stat points I get from the elves track my Moxie (I am currently an Accordian Thief) divided by 5. When I use my star crossbow or a DoD potion to boost my Moxie, the stat rewards continue to track. This is independent of what I do to my Muscle or Mysticality (altho the chances of me hitting the elf, or of the elf hitting me, still appears to be determined by my Muscle vs. Moxie numbers). If others are not seeing correspondence against Moxie, I theorize that it's corresponding against your class's major stat. --Cyferpunk 12:43, 22 December 2005 (Central Standard Time)
Oh yeah, when I use my yak whip against elves, if they don't hit me in the first couple of rounds, they don't hit me at all. --Cyferpunk 12:51, 22 December 2005 (Central Standard Time)
Reindeer
There's apparently a one-time adventure in the Toy Factory as of 2005-12-26, in which Rudolph the Red gives you a Unionize The Elves protest sign. The sign is a one-handed weapon, power level 50. Wearing it while adventuring in the Toy Factory gives a new set of adventures, in which you fight reindeer, which drop meat instead of toy parts. More details are required, but this is a very hot topic in the chats right now. -- Greycat, 2005-12-26 00:33 EST.
Poochy here. I have successfully determined that the reindeers' HP scales to your max HP:
Battle 1:
I had no buffs that increased either Muscle or max HP. My max HP was 399.
Your clockwork detective skull says "I deduce that this monster has approximately 390 hit points."
Battle 2:
Same as battle 1, except I wore hippopotamus pants instead of star pants to boost my max HP to 424:
You summon a Geyser of Steak Sauce, which erupts beneath your opponent for 249 damage. Your clockwork detective skull says "I deduce that this monster has approximately 167 hit points."
249 + 167 = 416, which was still very close to my max HP.
Stats were the same for both trials: Muscle: 396 (396) Myst: 572 (572) Moxie: 397 (394) --Poochy 15:22, 27 December 2005 (Central Standard Time)
Consistency
- the page currently says that elves scaled to moxie and reindeer to the same. but then it says the reindeer scaled to you primary stat. which is it? --Evilkolbot 06:36, 11 May 2006 (CDT)
