Talk:Crimbomega
Damage Cap
I cast Saucegeyser six times (although, on this, I am not quite sure), and then Ball Lightning, which took it down. Each one caused 51 damage, meaning that, if it doesn't scale, it has no more than 357 HP.
As a Turtle Tamer, I received 21 Muscle, 7 Myst and 8 Moxie, but no meat, so I removed that part._Blargh (talk) 10:51, 25 December 2014 (UTC)_
And what were YOUR stats? It might be scaling. So that information would be useful. --Lxndr (talk) 13:04, 25 December 2014 (UTC)
Two data points, as a level 30 disco bandit, every physical attack did 51 damage.
As a level 25 turtle tamer 608/410/408 (1411/1096/952)with +10 prismatic damage, and +100 sleaze damage, an attack dealt 51(+10)(+10)(+10)(+10)(+51 this is sleaze) damage. Saucegeyser did the exact same thing (51 damage). It's very safe to say that it hardcaps all damage at 51 damage. stat gain was 21/10/5.

- First of all what might interest the majority of readers the most: The fight is not hard. I tried regular attack with some elemental damage, Saucegeyser and Saucestorm. None of these did more than 51 damage per individual damage source, making Saucestorm or prismatic damage most effective. The boss itself didn't do a lot of damage at all. I remember seeing Crimbomega hit me for 1 damage once. Unfortunately I forgot to take notes because I realized too late that I had equipped a piece of rad lib equipment, changing my combat massages anyway.
Level 27 Pastamancer with Muscle 1399 (534 base), Mysticality 1765 (702 base), Moxie 1310 (500 base). --Yatsufusa (talk) 02:33, 26 December 2014 (UTC)
- I don't think any of us were wondering if it was hard, but just confirming whether or not there was a damage cap. With 5 points of data it's pretty safe to say that it doesn't scale, and it just has its own damage cap. Argus (talk) 03:27, 26 December 2014 (UTC)
- That's why I wrote readers, not editors. In my experience there are many players expecting/requesting the wiki being updated, with only a few actually contributing. I'm not complaining (at least not right now) – it's just that sometimes, when I listen to Jick on the radio, I get the feeling the wiki might have become a place where experts write stuff for other experts, forgetting the (comparatively) clueless newbies. I get that we can't create and maintain a strategy section on every single page with even the slightest significance, but sometimes I wonder if what we do helps players as much as we think it does. --Yatsufusa (talk) 03:47, 26 December 2014 (UTC)

Oyster Eggs
It was Oyster Egg Day today, so I attacked with my basket in hand. Dropped a red plastic oyster egg.
- After all of that stuff happens, you find an Oyster egg, Array.
