So some initial testing...

I had a Seal Clubber use a tube of dread wax. The SC has Hide of the Otter as a passive.

With a DA of 40%, I got hit for 6 points lower than I would have expected. With a DA of 10%, I got hit for 9 points lower than I would expect.

I only tried a few adventures, but had from 20-30 hits per adventure to establish ranges.

That should translate to a DR of +10. Anyone have a good way to test this more fully?--Foggy 14:04, 28 September 2007 (CDT)

• Testing in the basement against the beast with 16 eyes, with moxie of 1, no DR, and no DA. Expected damage is (16-1) + (.2 to .25)*16 = 18 to 19 damage. This value experimentally confirmed. With crusty head, damage was reduced to 8-9 damage.--QuantumNightmare 22:10, 5 October 2007 (CDT)
