This probably isn't referencing that movie.
Just because two things are remotely similar doesn't mean that one is referencing the other. This guy is nothing more than a play on the term "crusty old salt" in regards to sailors and fishermen and whatnot, just as the description mentions. --Sirjeffreyofvistledorf 19:02, 13 December 2007 (CST)

TMBG reference?
Is it just me, or does the line "bust is encrusted" show up in TMBG's "With the Dark"? It has some pirate references too, so maybe there's something to this. --Ackyri 15:57, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
