It also reminds me of the jump boots from the super mario brothers movie. Though I doubt that is the reference. Cause that would imply somebody else watched the movie. Also these were awesome to receive as a lvl 8 TT in bad moon. Between the boots in the shield im only getting hit for 1 damage when i do get hit. And the bonus melle AND initiative? I think English speakers would know the item in referrence as the Goomba Shoe. Goombas are called Kuribos in Japan.

One, sign your posts. And two, the shoe in Super Mario Bros. 3 on the NES was indeed called the Kuribo's Shoe. Yes, Goomba is the western name for the monster, but that didn't change what it was called. Another instance of the lack of using the westernized monster names was the Jugglem's Cloud, when we know him as Lakitu.
