Talk:D4
is the roleplaying a mummy comment a reference to the fact that a 4 sided die is pyramid shaped? --Ohnoanotherputz 06:30, 13 September 2011 (CEST)
- I believe so, though an actual D4 would be a triangle based pyramid which is not the same thing at all.--Tombot 16:04, 13 September 2011 (CEST)
Combat
Does the d4 always roll as "1" during combat? --Quietust (t|c) 21:20, 22 September 2011 (CEST)
- I tested a bunch of d4s in one combat a few days ago, but I apparently didn't update anything and now I can't find my notes. Anyway, this could roll from 1-4, the amount of delevelling varied a lot, from 5-40 or so against a Giant of some sort. At first it looked like the higher numbers delevelled more, but there were a couple of spikes from low numbers, and then, after a bunch of d4s, pretty much all of them were delevelling in the low single digits. My theory was that it delevelled a percentage of the monster's current level based on the roll, with higher numbers delevelling more, but I don't have any data to back that up, sorry. --Johnny Treehugger 16:03, 28 September 2011 (CEST)
Easter Egg
All the other dice so far have an easter egg at a certain multi use. Also there is still the one unspaded effect with the dice that Jick talked about in the radio show. We should perhaps start keeping track of all of the multi use attempts we do with this, and the other dice. --Darkwolf 15:39, 28 September 2011 (CEST)
- it's not 2 or 5. --Evilkolbot 00:34, 29 September 2011 (CEST)
Ercass found the Feral Kobold fam, apparently 100 d4s are needed. as if gygax isn't expensive enough already.--The ErosionSeeker 00:48, 3 October 2011 (CEST)
When using 100 d4's while drunk, you get the message "You can't count to 100 without accidentally counting to 200." --Hekiryuu 03:50, 3 October 2011 (CEST)
