Talk:Deactivated RoboGoose
Non-Tradeable; implication of a one-time drop?--Chugsworth 22:45, 17 December 2007 (CST)
- Good question.. Anyone out there have two of these yet?--AltyMcAltAlt 03:44, 19 December 2007 (CST)
So far, the attacks etc mirror those of the eggs themselves, albeit on a smaller range - at 20lbs they're about 2/3 as effective as those on the egg pages. --Denarius 22:59, 17 December 2007 (CST)

Indeed... Best I can offer is the familiar number - 80 (if I've got it right). I didn't know how to extract Descid details at the time, but I'll know for the next time though ;)--Denarius 23:30, 17 December 2007 (CST)
How rare is this? I got it on my 3rd try...Art Vandelay 17:07, 19 December 2007 (CST)
- Judging from available data, it's about a 1% to be obtained from an egg. Could actually be lower. This is noticeably more likely than a tiny plastic rare, but substantially less likely than a tiny plastic uncommon. And there's no mechanic for getting it to drop. It's just the roll of the virtual dice, nothing more. --Flargen 02:42, 20 December 2007 (CST)
I think the eggs can be farmed as a moxie class with CLEESH. Just Keep entering battle with it w/ auto pickpocket on. Then CLEESH it and kill it. This does not lower the number of geese-a-laying left for the day. --Seiterman 20:06, 22 December 2007 (CST)
Is it possible to have several deactivated ones? --Managwa (t|c) 13:00, 26 December 2007 (CST)
It seems it might be possible to own more than 1 deactivated robogoose, someone in the chat channel says he has 3 of them but doesnt know what to do with them. The player is mike2020, i wanted to ask him to display it in his display case or something but he says he doesnt like to display his items, in fact he has no display case.--TehChozenOne 02:59, 7 January 2008 (CST)
While not marked as a quest item, there is currently little value in trying to aquire more than one of these -- it can't be traded, whereas the item that creates it can, and since it is a Crimbo item, generally is considered rare. But, as more people aquire the geese, more eggs will drop, and eventually someone reputable will try for a multiple. --Jest Phulin 00:05, 23 January 2008 (CST)
Well aquiring two of these are is the same case as people who collect 16,777,215 meat paste: They just want it to show in their display case. No problem with that. However, its still not known if you could even get 2 of these.--TehChozenOne 03:54, 10 February 2008 (CST)
I just went through 200 eggs. Got a deactivated on the 6th egg and nothing since then. I'll probably run another hundred or so to make sure it's not just bad luck, but I'm guessing they are a one time drop.--TiCaudata 12:28 25 April 2008 (CST)
does it still drop??--Jotsund 21:39, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
I believe it still drops. Have we determined if this is a one-time-only item? --Lxndr 16:39, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
As requested, here is how I managed to get a robogoose for my DC and terrarium. Before I ascended last time I removed the deactivated robogoose and hobo monkey from my DC. When it went into Hagnk's I declined to withdraw them. I don't know if that was a requirement or not, but I have heard it was required for the Hobo Monkey. Anyway, after using 75 robotronic eggs, I recieved a second deactivated robogoose. I used one of them and put the other one back into my DC. I don't know if having it in Hagnk's is a requirement or if it was a coincidence, but it definitely netted me a second hatchling --Durgle 19:20, 19 January 2010 (UTC)
