Talk:Don't Hold a Grudge

From A KoL Wiki

Seems to be a pretty rare adventure in the Haunted Bathroom (about 2% chance so far). Got it with a mysticality character twice and the stat gains were myst. Not sure if other classes get their corresponding stats (and different adventure texts as well). --Risrepkel 20:10, 20 September 2006 (CDT)

Upon further adventuring here, you seem to gain 180-220 in your primary stat and about 120-130 to the other stats. --Risrepkel 20:37, 20 September 2006 (CDT)

I think it simply scales with your level. I'm a level 7 DB with a base Moxie of 47 and just got 99 Moxie from it. --Shima 16:56, 24 September 2006 (CDT)

There's about a 10% chance for this to occur, and it does seem to give more to your main sub-stat.

Just for the fun of it: (--JRSiebz (|§|) 19:09, 6 October 2006 (CDT))

Calculations for the thumb war choice

Since this adventure debuted on a Mys day, have we taken this into account when calculating the maximum amount for the Magicalness choice? Just want to make sure. --Andorin Kato 09:09, 3 October 2009 (UTC)

  • It did not debut on a Myst day. And it is the same stat gain as the other, which is to say 2-2.5*<mainstat> [capped at 250] +/- 23 mysticality substat. --MindlessGames 09:20, 3 October 2009 (UTC)

Got 151 myst from the Thumb War, with a main stat of 78 (before). So "2 to 2.5" might not be the correct range (unless that +/- 23 is applied different than I thought). Spading is definitely needed. -Greycat 15:21, 28 October 2009 (UTC)

Got 275 Myst with 149 mainstat. Non-myst day. So the variance is likely more than +/- 23. I'll try to see what I can do to figure the variance out, at least. --MindlessGames 01:54, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

Stat gain cap changed?

So supposedly doing the thumb war has your Myst gains capped to 250, right? Well, while I was doing runs today, I found out that... [1]

The cap was seemingly gone! Has this been mentioned in RadioKol yet? --Cassarenas 13:08, 3 December 2009 (UTC)

  • See the previous talk section... which should probably be added to the article. --BagatelleT/C 01:40, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

Data

This data was all with a character that is well above the mainstat cap (over 2500 base mainstat).

Definitely suggests a triangle distribution. Though will need more data to verify the upper and lower boundaries of the variation. --MindlessGames 02:50, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

Level 14 pastamancer with 190 mysticality, got this much from thumb wrestling: You gain 308 Enchantedness. and again: You gain 305 Enchantedness.--Mouseas 06:44, 6 December 2009 (UTC)

  • Today's a stat day, in case anyone's going to use the above. --BagatelleT/C 15:37, 6 December 2009 (UTC)

Well that figures.--Mouseas 15:55, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
