Talk:Duck-on-a-string

From A KoL Wiki

When I equip this, I never hit my opponent. Anyone else seeing this? --Dmcc 15:15, 27 December 2005 (Central Standard Time)

  • Nope. Been using it pretty consistently against the Crimbo Elves, in fact. --Baltar 18:46, 27 December 2005 (Central Standard Time)

Attack specific strings:

  • You shout, "DUCK!" and smack it with the duck-on-a-string. You both enjoy a good laugh, as it takes xx damage
  • You flail wildly with your duck-on-a-string. The string wraps around it and the duck bonks it in the nose for xx damage.
  • You do some fancy flailwork with your duck-on-a-string. Ho! Ha-ha! Guard! Turn! Parry! Dodge! Spin! Ha! Thrust! It takes xx damage.
  • You hit it for xx damage.
  • You hit him for xx damage.
  • You smack it with your duck-on-a-string. It quacks up for xx damage.
  • You flail at it with your duck-on-a-string, hitting for xx damage. Isn't it just too damn real, one white duck on a string?

Object Reference

The line "Designed for pulling behind you on cold, snowy days" strikes a memory. I remember a moderately famous painting depicting a little kid in a snowsuit pulling a duck-on-a-string. However, I can't remember the name or even the artist. Nonetheless, I'm sure the item is referencing this, as ducks aren't often pulled in the snow. If anyone can find the painting, I think it should be added
