is there a reason most bones (except such rarities as cranium/jawbone and sacral vertebrae) can be easily found in mall or in market for 200 meat and this one is few dense?! --Hrag 14:46, 1 July 2008 (CDT)

The prices on the 200 meat ones can fluctuate up into the thousands, as well. It's an issue of supply and demand. The piles have a tendency to yield 0 pieces, and the pet cemetary isn't a very good place to farm, so there can very easily be shortages for protracted periods of time. The prices can end up stabilizing at the high end if the drought lasts long enough and the people adding a meaningful number of them to the market do not wish to undercut. Just look at the wiki market statistics; in the last month alone prices have fluctuated from 100 meat to 425,000 meat. And I don't think anyone has bothered to determine exactly how common this particular piece is or isn't. Plus, 3k for an item is chump change. --Flargen 15:22, 1 July 2008 (CDT)
