FWIW, the game won't let you pulverize this item. The other equipment also seems not smashable. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 13:30, 15 February 2008 (CST)
OBTAIN
- obtain conditions are either incomplete or just plain wrong. i just did what it said and no translator. --Evilkolbot 13:37, 18 February 2008 (CST)
- ok, so i'm not paying attention. as you were. --Evilkolbot 13:38, 18 February 2008 (CST)
- nope, just did it again and still nothing. --Evilkolbot 13:40, 18 February 2008 (CST)
- I got mine at the end of my last Ascension using the instructions on the page (which don't seem to have ever changed). However, I can't use the humming El Vibrato drone even though I created it. So I agree when you say the Wiki is... missing information. --Bagatelle 16:52, 18 February 2008 (CST)
- Huh. The use message on its page has the word for "detected" in it (also augmentation, the rest being unknown to the wiki), so you might need something in your inventory. Have you tried using it with a power sphere or overcharged sphere in your inventory? --Flargen 18:13, 18 February 2008 (CST)
- I got mine with no trouble via inserting the MODIFY card into a drone. Admittedly, I had some El Vibrato spheres in inventory. Shall someone try it without having any spheres in inventory?--MaskedLihc 22:43, 18 February 2008 (CST)
- got spheres. not wearing (or worn any) el vibrato relics, though. --Evilkolbot 01:30, 19 February 2008 (CST)
- drone says "BEFUNO GABECHA: FUKRO". --Evilkolbot 01:54, 19 February 2008 (CST)

- ok, now i feel dumb. was doing a 100% megadrone run. the "insert into drone" link under the card is for the megadrone. in order to get the translator you have to use the "use" link next to a drone. duh-huh. i doubt this could be made any more obvious on the page, but, since i missed it perhaps someone could try. --Evilkolbot 12:52, 19 February 2008 (CST)
- How hilariously noobish of you. I was thinking of asking if you were making such a mistake before I went to sleep. I suppose it might be worth mentioning. There are quite a lot of "drones" in the game now, after all (and one of them's not even El Vibrato). I'll think about putting in the warning once I'm back from work if it's not there already. By the way, how are you on a 100% megadrone run and yet are still getting cards? Casual run? --Flargen 13:17, 19 February 2008 (CST)
- yup. --Evilkolbot 13:22, 19 February 2008 (CST)
