Talk:Eldritch Incursion

From A KoL Wiki

10/30: I see the Eldritch Fissure in three places: Seaside Town, to the right of the Market, The Big Mountains, above the Hermitage, and SpookyRaven Manor, 1st floor. I am on the Nuclear Autumn path, so it might be moved around for me, but they are not in the places listed on the page... ----MCroft (talk) 23:45, 30 October 2016 (UTC)

10/31: It seems to be a fight every time today. And beating the fissure in one location moves it to another...

10/31: rumours are circulating that some people get a pin (?) after using a flaregun 111 times against a tentacle. others report the do get nothing. I still have to try --Camil77 (talk) 21:03, 31 October 2016 (UTC)

Yes: Official_Council_Aide_Pin - Visit the Council. --ArgghFW (talk) 21:36, 31 October 2016 (UTC)

Several people who are still in a run do not get the pin, at least not yet. Instead the council advices them to finish their quests. Can anyone confirm or falsify? --Camil77 (talk) 22:02, 31 October 2016 (UTC)
From /hc : Apparently flares don't work during the war, because conspicuous lack of pirates. Ouch. --ArgghFW (talk) 22:05, 31 October 2016 (UTC)

Move?

I'm thinking of moving this page to "Eldritch Incursion" since apparently that's the name for this world event. Thoughts? --Prestige (talk) 23:08, 3 November 2016 (UTC)

  • Seconded. Go ahead. Just make sure people don't get confused, so make sure to re-direct everything that needs re-direction. --GinoXYZ (talk) 00:31, 4 November 2016 (UTC)

Fissure at The Sea

When I enter The Sea, an eldritch fissure appears, just to quickly vanish. To the left of the brinier deeps. Has someone encountered this, or am I lagging that much?--GinoXYZ (talk) 00:37, 4 November 2016 (UTC)

  • There's a sea fissure. It's just... it appears behind the graphics for the rest of the sea. If you look at the source, you can find the image and link to adventure there, it's just that normally it's covered up entirely. --KingBobson (talk) 02:17, 4 November 2016 (UTC)
    • Yeah, I can see it. Submitted a bug report for it. Though to be honest it doesn't really matter: There are plenty of fissures to go around. But it is good to know I was not hallucinating it!--GinoXYZ (talk) 07:58, 4 November 2016 (UTC)
    • This has been fixed.
